The Arctic City Summer Escape

Arrival: Upon your arrival at Rovaniemi Airport, look for your personal driver in the arrivals hall. They will be holding a sign with your name.

Transfer: Enjoy a smooth transfer to the Arctic City Hotel, located right in the city center.

Dinner: Kick off your trip with a culinary experience at Arctic Restaurant (or equivalent). Enjoy a modern atmosphere with dishes prepared from fresh, local ingredients like reindeer and whitefish.

Morning: We begin with a visit to a local Reindeer Farm. In summer, you can walk among the herd and feed them their favorite treats. It is a peaceful way to connect with the most iconic animal of Lapland.

Mid-Day: Next, we head to Santa Claus Village. Meet Santa in his office, cross the Arctic Circle line, and enjoy some free time for lunch and shopping.

Afternoon: Return to the city for a self-guided visit to the Arktikum Science Centre. Walk through the stunning glass tunnel and learn about the science of the Midnight Sun and the history of Rovaniemi.

Evening: Enjoy your half-board dinner at the hotel’s restaurant Monte Rosa which serves classic Lappish dishes and modern flavours.

Wildlife Safari: After breakfast, we depart for Ranua Wildlife Park (approx. 1 hour drive). Walk through the forest on wooden boardwalks to see Polar Bears, brown bears, wolves, and moose in their natural environment.

Evening Wellness: Back in Rovaniemi, we head to Kesärafla on the riverbank. Experience the ultimate Finnish tradition: sweat in a wood-heated sauna and dip into the cool river.

Dinner: Conclude the day with a delicious charcoal-grilled dinner on the Kesärafla terrace, enjoying the endless daylight.

Departure: Enjoy your final breakfast in Rovaniemi.

Transfer: At the agreed time, your driver will meet you in the hotel reception to transfer you comfortably back to Rovaniemi Airport for your flight home.
