Travel Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival to Lapland
Arrival: Your winter adventure begins! You will be transported directly to the resort from either Kittilä Airport (KTT) or Kolari Railway Station.
Accommodation: After checking in, you will enjoy a delicious dinner. Depending on your arrival time, you can pick up your warm winter clothing this evening or the following morning.
Relax: Settle into your accommodation and enjoy complimentary coffee or tea.
Day 2: Experience Husky
Husky Safari: Today, experience the most popular activity in the area! You will visit the husky farm and meet the happy dogs.
The Ride: Head out on a 1.5–2 hour safari (4–7 km) through the snowy landscape. Adults can drive their own sled, while families ride comfortably in the guide’s sled.
After the Ride: Spend some time petting the huskies and enjoy a warm drink to wrap up the experience.
Evening: Enjoy a buffet dinner at the resort.
Day 3: Reindeer safari and Aurora hunting
Reindeer Experience: Visit a traditional reindeer farm to discover the life of reindeer in Lapland. You will visit a historic museum, learn how to throw a suopunki (Lappish lasso), and test your skills driving a reindeer sleigh through the forest.
Evening Aurora Program: When darkness falls, we head out for a guided snowshoeing or walking tour. We will go into the quiet forest, away from lights, to marvel at the starry sky and hope to see the magical Northern Lights dancing above us. (Not included in 3-nights stays)
Day 4: Snowmobiling and Snowshoeing in National Park
Snowmobile Safari: Experience the thrill of speed on a 2-hour guided snowmobile tour. You will drive 10–15 km across frozen lakes and frosty forests. It is perfect for first-timers and thrill-seekers alike. (Note: Drivers must be 18+ with a valid driving license).
Pallas National Park: Later, we will visit the Pallas National Park, home to the purest air in the world. We will take a 4-hour hike (on snowshoes) higher up the fells to see breathtaking views of the vast winter landscape.
Day 5: Departure
Departure: Enjoy your final breakfast in the wilderness.
Transfer: A transfer will take you back to Kittilä Airport or Kolari Railway Station for your journey home.
