Evening: The Finnish salmon soup (Lohikeitto) is the perfect soup. It’s a diamond of Finnish cuisine, easy home cooking, super healthy, and suitable for any event. During this master class, we will teach you how to prepare this staple recipe, and afterward, we test it together. The Excursion: Korouoma is a 30-kilometre long and up to 130-meter deep canyon fracture valley located 110 kilometres south-east of Rovaniemi. It offers breathtaking scenery all year, with dramatic cliffs, rapids, and waterfalls.

The Hike: Your guide will drive you to Korouoma Canyon for a scenic hike in the nature reserve. You will have the chance to enjoy the incredible peaceful atmosphere of local forests. Wildlife Park: After breakfast, we depart for Ranua Wildlife Park (approx. 1 hour drive). Walk through the forest on wooden boardwalks to see Polar Bears, brown bears, wolves, and moose.

In spring and summer, Korouoma transforms into a green oasis of silence where you can fully recharge your energy. Day Trip: Today we travel West to Aavasaksa region & Sweden

Aavasaksa, listed as one of Finland’s National Landscapes, is famous for its panoramic views overlooking both Finnish and Swedish territories. Emperor Alexander II of Russia visited the site in 1876. During this excursion, you will visit the Imperial Hunting Lodge (Keisarinmaja) at the top of the hill, which is used today as a café. Afterwards, you will visit the Swedish village of Övertorneå. One of the main attractions here is the stunning wooden church, one of the oldest of its kind in all of Sweden.

Pallas National Park: Later, we will visit the Pallas National Park, home to the purest air in the world. We will take a 4-hour hike (on snowshoes) higher up the fells to see breathtaking views of the vast winter landscape.

Evening Adventure: When night falls, the real magic begins. You will be picked up for a guided Northern Lights hunt. We will drive away from the city lights to the best locations to spot the dancing Aurora Borealis in the sky.

Morning: After a delicious breakfast, we will head to the world-famous Santa Claus Village. This place feels like a fairytale all year round. Your guide will show you the best spots, including the Official Santa Claus Post Office where elves are hard at work. You will get to officially cross the Arctic Circle line-a perfect photo moment-and, of course, enjoy a private meeting with Santa Claus himself in his office.

Evening: We will transfer you back to your hotel for a relaxing evening. The rest of the night is yours to enjoy. You can explore the city center, shop for souvenirs, or try some traditional Lappish food, like sautéed reindeer, at a local restaurant.

Experience Husky Safari: Todays morning is all about energy and excitement! You will meet friendly, energetic Alaskan Huskies who love to run. Hop on a sled for a thrilling Husky Safari through the winter wilderness. Feel the fresh air on your face as the dogs pull you across the white snow.

Get amazed by Snow Hotel: In the late afternoon, we will drive you to the spectacular SnowHotel. Take a guided tour to see the amazing rooms made entirely of snow and the beautiful ice sculptures.

Dinner: The highlight of the evening is a delicious dinner served in the Ice Restaurant, where even the tables are made of ice.

Return: After an unforgettable evening, we will transfer you back to your warm hotel in the city.

The Drive: Today we travel deeper into the Arctic. Your driver will pick you up for a scenic 3-hour drive north to the Saariselkä area. Watch the beautiful winter landscape change as we head further into the wilderness.

Arrival: We arrive at the famous Kakslauttanen Arctic Resort.

The Experience: Check into your stunning Glass Igloo. You can spend the rest of the day walking in the peaceful snowy nature or simply relaxing in your warm igloo, waiting for the stars and Northern Lights to appear right above your bed.

Morning: Start your day with a visit to a traditional reindeer farm nearby. You will meet the gentle animals and hop into a comfortable sleigh. As the reindeer pull you through the snowy forest, enjoy the magical silence of the wilderness. The herders will also share stories about their lifestyle and the importance of reindeer in Lapland.

Afternoon: After a relaxing morning, pick up the pace for an adventure. You will receive driving instructions and then head out on a thrilling Snowmobile Safari. Zoom across frozen lakes and up the snowy fells (hills) to see breathtaking views of the vast Arctic landscape that you cannot reach on foot.

Evening: Return to the resort to warm up and relax in your igloo after an active day outdoors.

Departure: Enjoy your final breakfast in Lapland. At the agreed time, your driver will meet you in the hotel reception.

Transfer: You will be transferred comfortably back to Ivalo Airport in time for your flight home.
